You’ve probably heard the saying “people buy art from people they know.”  And the best way to get to know new buyers to know you is to have them SEE your artwork in REAL LIFE!

 

This is true.

 

But what ISN’T true is the other thing you might have heard, and that is this:  “the only way to exhibit your art is through galleries.

For one thing, galleries reject 90% of the artists who come calling.

They make you do most of the work.  They want you to invite your OWN clients. Then, they demand 50% of your sales and they won’t even give you the names of YOUR OWN buyers!
